Just to clarify, I removed the receptacle and box before installing the charge station.  I should have shown the back of the unit before it went into the wall, but there are 2 plastic knockouts on the back with threads behind them for screwing in a cable connector.  I used MC cable, so there&#039;s an MC connector screwed into the Voltec, and then the MC cable from the meter is attached directly to that.  You can see the back of the cable connector where the #12 comes through the back in the picture.

In other words, there&#039;s just the hole from the receptacle box behind the Voltec with the cable coming through.  Fortunately I was able to position the Voltec to cover the hole, otherwise I&#039;d have to get out the drywall mud.  :)

Oh, and congrats on getting the charge station.  The 4 hour charge time is great for keeping Sparky topped off on the weekends.]]></description>
